Overview

For this project, I designed a full vehicle wrap for Forrit Credit Union with the goal of turning public transportation into a moving brand touchpoint. The wrap needed to be bold, legible, and unmistakably Forrit while functioning within strict transit and production specifications. The result is a high-impact design built to travel through the community and build brand recognition at scale.

Research & Direction

Designing for public transportation presents a unique set of challenges. The work must be immediately readable, adaptable to unconventional surfaces, and effective at both close range and high speeds. I began by reviewing Forrit’s brand standards and identifying which visual elements would translate most clearly in motion. Special attention was given to hierarchy, contrast, and simplicity to ensure the message remained clear from every angle.

Wrap Design

The final design was developed specifically to meet transit vendor specifications, accounting for panel breaks, windows, curves, and mechanical components. Strong typography, intentional color blocking, and minimal messaging were used to maximize impact without overwhelming the viewer. Every design decision balanced brand expression with the practical realities of large-scale vehicle production.

Production & Specifications

All files were prepared to exact vendor requirements, ensuring accurate scaling, bleed, and alignment across the vehicle’s surface. Precision was critical, as even small inconsistencies can become highly visible at this scale. The wrap was designed to install cleanly and perform consistently across real-world conditions.

Brand in Motion

As the vehicle moves through the community, the wrap functions as a mobile billboard, extending Forrit Credit Union’s presence beyond traditional marketing channels. The design reinforces brand awareness through repetition and visibility, meeting people where they already are and integrating seamlessly into the public landscape.

This project highlights the intersection of creativity and technical execution. Designing for transit required thoughtful restraint, close attention to specifications, and a strong understanding of how brand systems perform in motion. The result is a functional, eye-catching design that brings Forrit Credit Union’s brand into everyday life.
